The January transfer window has come and gone, while Burton Albion have not been the busiest club in the league, they did do a little bit of business.

Tony James signed a one year extension after the Brewers turned down a late bid from his former club Hereford.

Leicester defender Tom Parkes has extended his loan spell until the end of the season. Parks was an initial one month loan.

O’Neil Thompson on a 28-day loan deal from Barnsley.

Cleveland Taylor has joined on loan from Brentford until the end of the season.

Along with Taylor, Steve Kabba has extended his initial 2 month loan until the end of the season.

Goalkeeper Ross Atkins joins on a 1 month loan from Derby County.

Marc Goodfellow has joined Blue Square Premier club Kidderminster until the end of the season.

Guy Branston has been sent to Torquay United until the end of the season. Branston had a bit of a disciplinary problem this season with 6 yellow cards and 2 reds with 3 suspensions.

Defender Aaron Brown and Striker Serge Makofo were released early in January. Both player were on short term contracts and failed to impress Brewers boss Paul Peschisolido.
