Makofo had been with the Club on-loan from Grays Athletic, while Brown was on a monthly contract.

Makofo made an instant impression when he arrived by scoring a hat trick in the reserve game against Macclesfield, but only made 4 first team appearances

Brown was brought in as cover for injured duo Ryan Austin and Andy Corbett, but the arrival of Richard Jackson pushed him further down the pecking order and only made 3 first team appearances.

Brewers boss Paul Peschisolido said on the club website, ‘I would like to wish Aaron and Serge all the best for the future. Unfortunately it hasn`t worked out here for them.

The Brewers next game is against fellow League Two club Morecambe at Christie Park on Jan. 9th

I think its just a question of finances and they did well in their spells. I think Barnet should look at the youth and reserves at manchester City, they are always loaning out players to get experience at a higher class of football.

Well, what with this Extremely bad conditions and this could lead to a fixture pile up and you can bet the FA and league officals wont extend the season to cope.Could be the opporunity to get some of the injured back to full fitness. Should we have a winter break?
