Burton brought in a new recruit in a loan capacity on Tuesday afternoon, ahead of the league 2 meeting with Carlisle United.
Gary Rowett felt that another defensive/midfield option was required with Blackburn Rovers youngster Darragh Lenihan signed on a one-month loan.
The 20-year-old, a Republic of Ireland U21 international, can play in either defence or midfield so give us options in both over the next month.
Lenihan is yet to make his first-team debut for his parent club but has featured regularly for the development squad, which he’s also captained and was an unused sub in the four-three win at Brunton Park.
