Could Adam Reed be destined for a January exit from Burton?

Given the fact that he’s struggled to cement himself a place in the squad, let alone the starting XI, for most of the season since his summer switch would tend to suggest that he could.

Particularly as there is speculation coming from York side that their former loanee could return to Bootham Crescent in the New Year.

York manager Nigel Worthington didn’t really want to be drawn too much on the topic when talking in the York Evening Post at the weekend, but he certainly wasn’t ruling out a move for the midfielder if the Brewers make him available as they wanted him in the summer when he was released by Sunderland.

Reed of course opted for the Pirelli Stadium ahead of York, where he’d enjoyed a successful loan spell last season.

I’d think it’s fair to say that Reed’s days with us are numbered aren’t they so if it’s possible for him to move on in January I’d not be the least bit surprised to see this in all truth….
