Burton Albion are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week’s action.

The performance by Ben Turner in the one nil victory over Millwall at the weekend at The Den was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we’ll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Turner was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the FL blurb read.

‘Burton claimed their first away league win of the campaign, with Nigel Clough`s men edging out Millwall at The Den. The Brewers’ defenders were made to work hard, with Turner resolute alongside his colleagues, putting his body on the line to help earn a clean sheet and three points which took them out of the bottom three.’

It’s always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Turner for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the win.
