Congratulations to John Mousinho and John McLaughlin who were named as one of the Sky Bet League 1 top 15 players.
The list was compiled as part of the Football League Awards and it’s made up based on the voting of managers of each club in the division.
Managers were asked to rank their top five players from the season in order, and points were awarded based on that order to finalise the overall Player of the Year winners and as we know are Burnley’s Andre Gray in the Championship, Gillingham’s Bradley Dack took League 1 and Oxford’s Kemar Roofe for League 2.
With the overall winners known, here were the other top 15 candidates that were nominated.
