The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Burton Albion and Aston Villa this weekend.

Burton Albion host Aston Villa on Saturday April 8 for the game at the Pirelli Stadium and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Match Day referee Probert is back this year having taken charge of 19 games in the 2014/15 season. In those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 63 yellow cards and five red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa with a total of six yellows being shown, along with one red. He showed seven yellows in the Accrington Stanley v Wycombe Wanderers game in December.

He has officiated 26 games in 2016/17 with a return of 54 yellow cards and four red cards.

He was most card happy this campaign in the game between Fulham and Leeds United where he showed six yellows and one red.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of the players edge closer to automatic bans.
