Its was the new boys who took centre stage at Kingsmeadow. Wombles new boy Gary Alexander and Brewers new forward Michael Symes both netted in the 1-1 draw.

Gary Rowett made 3 changes to the starting 11 with Calvin Zola and Damien McCrory both injured, Rowett brought in Aaron Webster and Michael Symes. The other change was out wide where Rowett opted for Alex McDonald on loan from Burnley, ahead of Man City Youngster Adam Drury who had to settle for a place on the Brewers bench.

McDonald start the game very well and it was a shame when he had to leave the field mid way through the first half to be replaced by Drury. McDonald looked quality.

Gary Alexander put Wimbledon ahead in th 27th minute when the Crawley Loanee got on the get of a bouncing ball to put the hosts in front.

9 Minutes later Symes beat a man and whacked the ball home to put the brewers level.

With 15 minutes remaining skipper Zander Diamond was shown a red card for violent conduct, I thought it has and will await a replay it maybe something which I missed? Can any Brewers shed any ligh on the sending off??

Neither club could find a winner and I feel 1-1 was a fair reflection. What do the fans think? Point gained or 2 lost?

I feel the new signings will be an asset and will assist greatly in the promotion push.
