The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Shrewsbury Town this weekend.

Burton Albion host Shrewsbury Town on Saturday January 23 for the game at the Pirelli Stadium and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Graham Salisbury
Linesmen: Alan Clayton and Andrew Newbold
Fourth Official: Nick Greenhalgh

Match Day referee Salisbury (Lancashire) has officiated one Burton game this season – the two one victory over Peterborough. In that game he showed five yellow cards and one red, three yellow cards to Burton.

He has however already taken in 23 other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he has handed out a total of 73 yellow cards and five red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Bury and Wigan Athletic on October 10 with a total of seven yellows being shown and one red. He also showed seven yellows on Boxing Day in the game between Oxford and Exeter.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
