James Ellison Moves (Again)

James Ellison, who recently departed The Pirelli after a pretty uneventful 18-month spell at the club, has today signed for Blue Square Bet Premier side Southport, his fifth club of the season.

Upon his release from Burton he signed a deal with BSB Northern club, Hyde FC, but after just a couple of appearances he has now moved to The Sandgrounders where he`ll be hoping to get some first team experience under his belt.

As mentioned above, already this season he has been contracted to Burton, then had loan spells with both Alfreton Town and Chester before signing for the two clubs up North. Prior to that he had spells at Stafford Rangers and Hednesford Town on loan, as well as being contracted to Liverpool before joining Burton Albion. Cue the “more clubs than Jack Nicklaus” jokes….
