Callum McFadzean is back at the Pirelli Stadium with it confirmed on Thursday that he’s back with Burton on loan.

McFadzean came to the club for a loan spell at the end of last season to play a part in helping the club to secure a play-off spot and make the league 2 play-offs. Unfortunately a place in league 1, along with his parent club Sheffield United, couldn’t be secured but he’s back at the Pirelli to try and help make this the case this season.

Gary Rowett was impressed with him last season and is happy to have him back, with him feeling that he will be even more effective with a pre-season under his belt.

He told the official website: ‘Callum did well for us last season and we’re pleased to bring him back.

‘He showed good promise in his time with us last season, and with a full pre-season under his belt we think he’ll be a good addition down the left hand side.’

Burton have, at this stage, secured his services on a loan spell for six-months.

Are you happy to have him back?
