Burton 3-3 Northampton

Once again Burton threw away a two-goal lead, although unlike the game with Bradford in midweek when they went onto lose the Capital One Cup tie, but they still managed a draw when entertaining Northampton on Saturday afternoon.

Calvin Zola’s (9) early goal got Burton off to a good start, with this goal seeing them go into the half time break one-nil up.

On the hour a Kelvin Langmead (60) own goal extended The Brewers’ lead although Langmead (63) quickly made amends at the right end to bring Northampton back into the game with David Artell (75) equalising for the visitors a little over ten-minutes later!

With time running out Zander Diamond (80) restored the home sides lead but once again The Cobblers pegged the hosts back when Alex Nicholls (83) equalised to see the game end in a 3-3 draw.
