Burton travel to Bradford City tomorrow, hoping to arrest a run that has seen them lose their last three games, all of which have been coupled with below-par performances.

Lady Luck seems to be scowling in the general direction of Burton at the moment, with our forwards firing blanks and the injured trio of Aaron Webster, Tony James and Billy Kee all set to miss out. John McGrath this week came out unscathed after a well publicised spell of refuse collection with Adam and Reg Drew, two stalwart Burton supporters, so will keep his place in the middle.

Bradford have a whole host of injury worries and Phil Parkinson could potentially be missing five first-teamers, plus also has midfielder David Syers missing, suspended after a recent red card. One ex-Brewer will be in the Bradford squad, albeit most likely on the bench, but a warm reception will always be reserved for Matt Duke who served the club so well during their early Conference days.

It`s fair to say that during the earlier meeting at The Pirelli Stadium last autumn Bradford could feel hard done by after coming away with just the one point in a 2-2 draw, played in searing October heat. The Bantams deservedly led 2-0 after 16 minutes, with Burton pulling back into the game with first-half goals from Billy Kee and Justin Richards. Fingers crossed that tomorrow brings as much excitement.

Enough has been said about our recent form, but Bradford sit on probably their best form of the season, having seen a return of 11 points from the last six games, including impressive wins away to Southend and at home to Shrewsbury.

For the diehards travelling up to Yorkshire here`s hoping they see a glut of goals, with the balance in the favour of the visitors, a committed performance by all of our players and Jacques being kept away from his mobile should he spend any part of the match on the bench.

Prediction? On current form the head goes for 2-1 to Bradford, but the heart goes for 1-0 to Burton. A win and a clean sheet would be most welcome.
