With Wigan Athletic sitting on 81 points in top spot and Burton Albion on 78 in second spot, with Walsall three points behind on 74 points but with a game in hand, it is looking tricky now but effectively it remains in Burton’s hands.
The automatic spot, as long as form doesn’t plummet, is one thing, but there is no question about a Play Off spot as a secondary option.
